Baptist Academy Grace Baptist Academy Recommended for Accreditation
Grace Baptist Academy recently hosted an NCA CASI (North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement) team as part of our accreditation process.
We are pleased that this team has recommended that GBA be accredited. The full state council will meet in the near future to make a final determination of the team's findings.
The noted several strengths of Grace Baptist Academy, including
the teachers and students demonstrate through instruction and learning their understanding and appreciation of the school's vision, mission, and values;
parents ... are actively engaged in their child's learning. Teachers and parents have an open line of communication and share insights into students' behavior and learning;
Adherence to a faith-based vision evident in all aspects of student learning and development;
support of a school climate which fosters the spiritual, cognitive, social, and emotional needs of all learners;
the school has passionate stakeholders who want to see the school succeed and who are committed to enhance the work of the school through volunteerism, donations, and prayer;
and Grace Baptist Academy clearly and strongly follows the vision and mission of the school in order to inform instruction.

We are excited to learn that Grace Baptist Academy has been officially approved as a Candidate for accreditation through NCA CASI (North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement).
We are tentatively scheduled to host a Quality Assurance Review team April 3-4, 2012. It is our goal to be fully prepared and to qualify for accreditation at that time.
Grace Baptist Academy offers a complete program of instruction beginning with pre-school for four-year-olds and continuing through the twelfth grade. The A Beka Christian curriculum, used in over 10,000 Christian schools and nationally recognized for its effectiveness, is the primary instructional material utilized.
Our students benefit from a low student to teacher ratio and score well above average on national achievement tests administered annually to students in kindergarten through twelfth grade.
